Making an Appointment

Application Forms for Legal Aid are available at the PSO and can be downloaded pdf here (305 KB) .

In order to fill out your application, please visit one of our Legal Clinics by making an appointment through our online booking tool below.

At our Legal Clinics, you will be given a one on one session with one of our PSO Lawyers or Paralegals who will help you fill out your application for legal aid and provide you with initial legal advice about your application.

The Public Solicitor's Office holds legal clinics where prospective clients can make an appointment on the following days:

If your issue is one of family violence or abuse, please come into our office or contact the nearest PSO Office or contact SafeNet (SafeNet on Facebook).

Civil: Mondays & Wednesdays 2.00-4.00pm

Family: Tuesdays 9.00-11.00am

Criminal: Thursdays 2.00-4.00pm
 Make a Booking

Land: Fridays 9.00-11.00am
 Make a Booking

People with Disabilities: every second Thursday 9.00am-1.00pm
 Make a Booking

At these clinics, people can receive initial legal advice and will be assessed on whether they are eligible for casework assistance with the PSO according to the means and merit test.
